DATABASE OF LIGAND-RECEPTOR PARTNERS

Key to the format of the text file:

Each group of proteins (seperated by blank lines) consists of a ligand (on the first line) followed by the receptors to which it binds (subsequent lines).

Notes are included on lines begining with the pound symbol (#).

Each protein entry has the following three pieces of information seperated by tabs

- UniGene ClusterID (From UniGene build #141)
- Gene symbol (From UniGene build #141 and the HUGO Gene Nomenclature Committee database)
- Gene description (From UniGene build #141)

Results are listed for human genes.
Use HomoloGene to find homologs in other organisms.
