DPV Score

Domain Pair Verification Method (DPV)

DPV judges individual interactions probable if potential domain-domain interactions between the pair are deemed probable. To use the server to analyze interactions, please enter a list of pairs of proteins or a list of proteins. If only a list of proteins is given, the server will analyze all possible pairs of proteins within the list.
DIP codes (i.e. 'DIP-310N'), YPD codes, or yeast gene names are acceptable. For example

YAL021C YGR092W
YAL029C YBR130C
YAL047C YHR172W
YAL047C YNL126W
or...
YAL021C
YAL029C
YAL047C
YNL126W

The results will be tabulated on this page. Most files process in about 10 seconds.

Scores range from 0 to 1.  A score at or very close to 1 indicates an interaction most likely to be correct.  A score of 'N/A' indicates that there was no information available for one or both of the proteins, precluding analysis by DPV.  See Deng at al. for details on computing domain-domain scores, or click here for more discussion of how DPV scores interactions.

(For large numbers of interactions, you may want to just display a link to a text-only results file, as some browsers don't handle large tabular output well.)
